Iconography and UX for challenger cereal

The Brief
Surreal approached Tribe Digital to refine their initial mockups, with the aim of improving the user experience and streamlining the subscription setup. The fun and friendly brand aesthetic worked successfully on the packaging but needed to be translated thoughtfully onto the ecommerce site, whilst ensuring the user journey and content hierarchy was as strong as it could be. Our Figma prototypes were then exported to Zeplin before being handed over to Green Box who developed the Shopify website.

UX/UI Audit
Taking their existing Figma files and our knowledge of ecommerce web design best practice, we conducted a full UX/UI audit, making recommendations on visual elements as well as content hierachy and cart functionality. Our main aim was to make recommendations on how to improve information structure on the product page and the flyout cart.

Web Design Improvements
Using our UX/UI audit notes we put together Figma mockups of our recommendations, including a product page revamp with subscription options and a fly out cart. We also proposed design improvements for the homepage and the about page.
